Save Money on a Hawaii Wedding - Use Plastic
Wednesday, October 17th, 2007If you’re planning on having an island style wedding in Hawaii, you’re probably looking to save a few dollars. Did you know you can end up spending thousands on dinnerware along for your wedding? That’s one place to start!
If you’re having an island style wedding here in Hawaii and you the wedding is outside, actually, especially if the wedding is outside, why spend all that extra money on dishes, silverware, and glasses? You have spend money on their use, and then you have to spend money on having someone clean them.
If you’re using a caterer who won’t take the price of the silverware and dishes out of their meal cost then you’re kinda stuck. But if you’re using someone who will you might be able to save a bundle.
Simply going to Costco or Sam’s Club, buying a bulk set of plates and silverware, all plastic, can save lot’s. We suggest getting dark plastic, thick plates. One’s that survive cutting. Regular plastic forks and knives. Plane paper napkins. And plastic cups. Most bar services will use plastic eventually once they run out of glass so why not just start out with plastic.
Plus, if you’re outside, no one’s going to notice. They’ll be too sidetracked by how beautiful the surroundings are.
